In her statement on Wednesday, Gwacham, who is affiliated with the Progress Grand Alliance (APGA), clarified that she was caught off guard by the Speaker's request to second the motion.

She explained that she had just entered the chamber and settled into her seat without prior knowledge of the motion being moved. Gwacham emphasized her commitment to her constituents and the importance of focusing on legislative responsibilities.
