Ex-Appeal Court President Warns of Goodluck Jonathan's Potential Removal If He Wins 2027 Election

Former President of the Court of Appeal, Ayo Salami, has warned that if Goodluck Jonathan wins the 2027 election in Nigeria, he will face removal for violating the constitution's two-term limit. Salami emphasized that Jonathan's attempt to seek a third term would be unlawful, as the constitution clearly prohibits such actions.

He referenced Jonathan's completion of late President Umaru Musa Yar'Adua's term and winning an election on his own as constituting his two terms. Salami highlighted that any victory by Jonathan would likely be nullified by the court.
