Nigerian Singer Naira Marley's Cybercrime Trial Adjourned by Lagos Court

The trial of Nigerian musician Naira Marley for alleged cybercrime was adjourned by a Lagos court until February 16, 2022, due to the absence of the EFCC. Augustin Anosik, a forensics analyst, testified as the second prosecutor in the case, presenting virtual evidence to the court.

Marley faces 11 counts related to conspiracy, possession of counterfeit credit cards, and fraud. The trial began in 2019, with Marley pleading not guilty and being granted bail.

The prosecution team requested to display evidence using a CD projector during the last court session.
