Mr Eazi Shares Challenges Touring Africa Compared to US and Europe at Africa Prosper Dialogue

Mr Eazi, also known as Oluwatosin Ajibade, discussed his early career struggles touring across Africa compared to the US and Europe during the Africa Prosper Dialogue focusing on empowering SMEs, women, and youth in Africa. He revealed that despite his breakthrough in the music industry, touring Africa became harder due to border restrictions and regulatory hurdles.

Mr Eazi narrated personal experiences of delays at the Kenyan border, where his band members were not allowed to enter despite being paid to perform. He emphasized the importance of removing barriers to movement and trade within Africa, advocating for the implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) to promote cross-border collaboration.

Mr Eazi highlighted his investments in several companies across 19 African countries and stressed the need for African leaders to facilitate easier movement and trade across borders to strengthen the continent's unity and economic growth.
