Tinubu Skips Lagos Project Unveiling Due to Security Issues

President Bola Tinubu did not attend the scheduled project inauguration in Lagos due to pressing security issues, as explained by his aide, Dare, during an interview with Channel Television on Wednesday. The aide noted that the president has been receiving constant security briefings and prioritizing national security, particularly in light of recent attacks in states such as Kaduna and Niger.

The situation necessitated the president's engagement with security agencies to monitor developments and address the ongoing security challenges. Despite his absence, the inauguration of the Ojota link bridge project was represented by Senate President Godswill Akpabio, who commissioned the project on behalf of the president.

The aide emphasized that urgent decisions regarding security matters are being made promptly, reflecting the administration's commitment to addressing the situation effectively.
