Kwara APC Elders Endorse Bolarinwa for 2027 Governorship

The elders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara have officially endorsed Bashir Bolarinwa as their candidate for the 2027 governorship election. This endorsement was announced during a conference held in Ilorin, where Ladi Mustapha, the spokesperson for the elders, highlighted Bolarinwa's intellectual depth and capacity to address insecurity and drive socio-economic transformation in Kwara.

Mustapha, a former APC legal adviser, praised Bolarinwa's honesty, sincerity, and unwavering dedication to the welfare of the people. He noted Bolarinwa's extensive political career, which includes serving as a councillor, local government chairman in Lagos State, and a member of the House of Representatives, as well as his role as chairman of the APC in Kwara in 2018.

Mustapha emphasized Bolarinwa's ability to build strong relationships across the three senatorial districts of Kwara, transcending ethnic and religious divides. Additionally, Raphael Adetiba, a former deputy speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, reaffirmed the party's commitment to unity and inclusivity in selecting capable candidates for future elections.
