Wicknell Chivayo's Last Message Before Fatal Crash

Wicknell Chivayo, a Zimbabwean businessman, and his wife, Lucy Muteke, were among the occupants of a helicopter that crashed in Marondera on September 30, 2026. Following the tragedy, a message Chivayo shared on Instagram after meeting Nigerian preacher Apostle Joshua Selman has resurfaced.

In the message, Chivayo celebrated his encounter with Selman at a House of Treasures Church Conference, describing it as a “great honour and privilege.” He praised Selman's teachings and expressed his ambition to become a “MULTI-BILLIONAIRE.” Notably, he mentioned that intelligence and hard work alone were insufficient for his journey, emphasizing the need for prayers for “protection, favour and divine direction” for himself and his family. This message gained attention after his death, although there is no evidence suggesting that Chivayo anticipated the helicopter crash.

Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
