Wike Endorses George Kelly for Rivers Governorship

Nyesom Wike, the former Governor of Rivers State, has officially endorsed George Kelly to take over from Siminalayi Fubara as the next governor in the upcoming 2027 elections. This endorsement was made during a closed-door meeting with political stakeholders in Port Harcourt, where the political situation in Rivers State was reviewed, and strategies were discussed to consolidate Wike's influence ahead of the elections.

The meeting included notable figures such as former militant leader Asari Dokubo and Atek Tom, indicating a significant level of political consultation prior to the endorsement.
