Wike Faction Protests at PDP Secretariat, Demands Removal of Turaki

Supporters of Nyesom Wike's faction within the PDP staged a protest at the party's national secretariat in Abuja, demanding the removal of the national chairman, Tanimu Turaki. The demonstration, mainly led by women and youth groups, carried placards with messages targeting Turaki.

The faction, boycotting the party's convention in Ibadan, accused Turaki of illegitimacy. Heavy police presence prevented clashes as the Wike-backed faction attempted to take over the secretariat.
