PDP Expels Nyesom Wike, Ayodele Fayose, and 9 Others to Ensure Party Discipline

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) has expelled 11 members, including Nyesom Wike and Ayodele Fayose, to maintain discipline and unity for the upcoming 2027 elections. The decision was made by the PDP's National Working Committee in Abuja.

While some members supported the move, others like Governor Ahmadu Fintiri distanced themselves, believing the expulsions could harm the party's cohesion. The PDP aims to counter opposition destabilization efforts and strengthen internal discipline.

Former Minister Kabiru Turaki disclosed the expulsions, emphasizing the party's commitment to enforcing discipline.
