Wike Applauds Appellate Courts at Ukala's Book Launch

On April 29, 2026, Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, commended the appellate courts and Emmanuel C. Ukala, SAN, during the presentation of Ukala's manual on appellate practice in Abuja.

Wike highlighted the necessity for high-level discipline, precision, and intellectual rigor in appellate advocacy, noting that the legal profession demands continuous learning and clarity of thought, particularly at the appellate level. He described the manual as a practical guide that young and inexperienced legal practitioners will frequently consult, rather than allowing it to gather dust on a shelf.

Wike acknowledged that Ukala's legal career began at his law firm, which helped shape his professional values. The event was attended by senior judiciary officials, including the Chief Justice of Nigeria and members of the Supreme Court and Court of Appeal.
