Wike-led PDP Faction Appoints Mao Ohuabunwa as BoT Chairman Amid Party Crisis

The faction aligned with Nyesom Wike in the PDP has appointed Senator Mao Ohuabunwa as the Chairman of its Board of Trustees (BoT) in Abuja. This move comes after the resignation of the former BoT Chairman, Senator Adolphus Wabara.

The faction also named Isah Dansidi as the Secretary. Meanwhile, state chairmen of the PDP have disowned the faction's actions and reiterated their loyalty to the national working committee.

They urged party members to prepare for the upcoming national convention in Ibadan to strengthen internal democracy and restore public trust in the party.
