PDP Faction Led by Wike Expels Makinde, Mohammed, Others Sparking Crisis

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) faced internal turmoil as a faction led by Nyesom Wike expelled prominent members like Seyi Makinde and Bala Mohammed for alleged anti-party activities. The faction, headed by Muham Abdulrahman, took the decision, leading to a split within the party.

The expulsion came after disagreements over the conduct of state congresses and the upcoming national convention. Other members sanctioned include Ayo Fayose and Samuel Anyanwu, while Abubakar Bawa resigned.
