Wike Orders Closure of SFGH Secretariat in FCT

On Wednesday, Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), issued an order for the immediate closure of the secretariat of the dissolved ad-hoc committee on Sales of Federal Government Houses (SFGH). This directive was communicated through a statement by Lere Olayinka, the senior special assistant on Public Communications and Social Media.

Following the completion of the ad-hoc committee's assignments, the secretariat was retained to address issues arising from its activities. With the formal closure, the public is now directed to approach the Department of Land Administration for all matters related to the sale of Federal Government Houses in the FCT.

Additionally, the public is cautioned against fraudsters posing as members or staff of the defunct committee and secretariat, which no longer exists.
