Igbo Group Mobilizes Support for Tinubu's 2027 Bid

The Ndigbo for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu 2027 Forum, a pro-Tinubu socio-political group, has launched a grassroots mobilization campaign to support President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election. In partnership with the City Boy Movement, the initiative aims to enhance political engagement with the Igbo community and other stakeholders, focusing on development, economic empowerment, and national integration.

This collaboration was established during a meeting in Abuja last weekend, attended by members of NDI-ABAT and Seyi Tinubu, the Patron of the City Boy Movement. The group, led by National Coordinator Okechukwu Isiguzoro and Secretary General Dr.

Ugwuoke Ugwuoke Jr., projects the potential to mobilize 11 million votes from the South-East. Key issues include advocating for an additional state in the South-East and completing ongoing Federal Government infrastructure projects in the region.

The group also aims to improve economic opportunities for Igbo youths and small businesses, while reversing electoral setbacks faced by the All Progressives Congress in previous elections.
