Wike Commends Dunamis Church for Abuja Pedestrian Bridge

Nyesom Wike, the Minister, commended Dunamis Church during the inauguration of a pedestrian bridge at the Church's headquarters, the 100,000-capacity Glory Dome in Abuja. He described the project as an exemplary model of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
Wike noted that the Church applied for approval to construct the bridge in 2018, but it was only brought to his attention in February 2026, leading to swift approval within one month. He stated that this approval reflects President Bola Tinubu's commitment to good governance and urged Church members to support the government.
Wike announced that the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) would cover 50% of the total construction costs. Dr. Paul Enenche, the Senior Pastor of Dunamis, explained that the bridge was built to address frequent fatal accidents along the Airport Road.
He mentioned plans to enhance the bridge with aesthetic coverings, security lighting, and transparent side panels to protect users.
