Governor Wike Takes Political Risk by Supporting Tinubu for 2023 Elections, Expresses Concerns at PDP Meeting

Samuel Nwanosik, a former chairman of Ikwerre Local Government Area in Rivers State, emphasized the political risk taken by Governor Wike in supporting Bola Tinubu for the 2023 elections. Nwanosik mentioned that Wike's decision to back Tinubu could benefit the people of Rivers State politically.

Governor Wike also addressed concerns about the People's Democratic Party's (PDP) survival and strength during the 105th National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting held in Abuja. He dismissed claims of PDP members being intimidated, especially in light of recent judicial victories by factions within the party.
