Arrest of Mother-Daughter Duo for Kidnapping in Anambra
Security operatives in Okpuno-Uzodike, Otolo-Nnewi, Anambra State, arrested a woman and her daughter for allegedly kidnapping seven underage children in Onitsha. The operation was supervised by Mr. Solomon Okwuolisa, Security Commander of Okpuno Otolo Village.

The operatives also alleged that the suspects were involved in stealing mobile phones from places of worship, specifically mentioning two phones stolen from St. Jude Catholic Church, Nnewi. The suspects reportedly confessed to using the stolen devices after removing the SIM cards.
The suspects have been handed over to the Otolo-Nnewi Divisional Police Station for further investigation, but were later transferred to the Onitsha Central Police Station, where the crime occurred.
