Woman Arrested for Alleged Sexual Exploitation of Daughters

Anulika Onyeanusia, a 36-year-old woman, has been taken into custody by the Anambra State Police Command following allegations of sexual exploitation of her daughters for financial gain through online platforms. The case emerged after a disturbing video prompted police investigation.

Officers located Onyeanusia in Onitsha and rescued four children aged two, three, six, and nine, who are now under protective care. SP Tochukwu Ikenga, the police spokesperson, confirmed the arrest, stating it was based on intelligence from social media.

Investigators recovered items relevant to the case and are working to establish the circumstances of the alleged abuse, including whether it involved other individuals. Preliminary findings suggest that Onyeanusia admitted to producing and distributing material involving her eight-year-old daughter, reportedly earning about $300 from it.

The ongoing investigation aims to trace the digital footprint of the material and assess the broader implications of the case regarding child exploitation.
