Micah Richards Advocates for Jude Bellingham in World Cup

Micah Richards, a former Premier League star, has urged England manager Thomas Tuchel to include Jude Bellingham in the starting lineup for the World Cup, asserting that the Real Madrid player is the best in the Three Lions squad. Bellingham, who previously played for Borussia Dortmund, has made a notable impact in his initial two seasons at the Bernabeu, including a remarkable overhead kick that helped England during Euro 2024.

Despite facing challenges last season, where he netted six league goals, his performance has improved, particularly in England's final World Cup warm-up match against Costa Rica. Richards expressed strong support for Bellingham over Morgan Rogers, who has also had a commendable season with Aston Villa, contributing to their qualification for the Champions League.

Alan Shearer suggested choosing Rogers over Bellingham, but Richards firmly disagreed, emphasizing Bellingham's ability to deliver at the highest level.
