Defending champions Argentina will face Switzerland in Kansas City after a remarkable comeback against Egypt, winning 3-2 with Lionel Messi scoring twice.

Switzerland reached this stage after a 4-3 penalty shootout victory over Colombia. England, who defeated DR Congo 2-1 thanks to a late brace from captain Harry Kane, will clash with Norway in Miami.

Norway has shown impressive form, led by Erling Haaland and Martin Ødegaard. Belgium, in pursuit of their first World Cup title, will take on Spain after a dramatic comeback against Senegal.

The semi-finals are scheduled for July 14 and 15, with the grand final to be held on July 19 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
