Lagos Commits to Sustainable Food Systems for World Food Day 2025

The Lagos Ministry of Agriculture and Food System has reiterated its dedication to developing sustainable and resilient food systems ahead of World Food Day 2025. Various events, including a road walk, quiz competition, and farmer engagement activities, aim to raise awareness and garner support for the agricultural sector.

Commissioner Abisola Olusanya emphasized the importance of promoting agriculture in Lagos, highlighting Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu's efforts to transform the state into an agrarian hub. The theme for the 2025 World Food Day underscores the need for partnerships to enhance food security and promote healthy diets.
