Education Minister Dr. Tunji Alausa empowered 60,000 Nigerian teachers with digital tools on World Teachers’ Day.

The initiative aims to enhance classroom delivery and bridge the technological gap in education. The Ministry's Nigerian Education Sector Renewal Initiative (NESRI) prioritizes teacher welfare and digital inclusion.

Alausa highlighted the importance of teachers as the backbone of the education system and emphasized the need for continuous training in modern instructional techniques. The initiative, part of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda, includes retraining technical teachers and enhancing their capacity in areas like Artificial Intelligence and crisis management.

The event in Abuja focused on "Recasting Teaching Collaborative" to transform the learning environment.
