Rite Food Supports Lagos Workers on World Water Day

On World Water Day, Omolabak Fasogbon emphasized Nigeria's persistent struggle with unequal access to clean water, affecting health and social inclusion. Reports indicate that millions of Nigerians lack reliable access to safe drinking water.

In response, Rite Food launched a campaign to support essential workers in Lagos, reinforcing the theme "Water Flow, Equal Grow." The initiative involved distributing bottled water to 3,000 workers across 12 high-traffic locations, including sanitation workers, traffic officials, street vendors, and public service personnel. Denni Aideloj, speaking on behalf of Rite Food, highlighted the importance of providing hydration to those working in intense heat.

The campaign aims to extend beyond Lagos, focusing on the significant impact of simple access to clean water. Last year's campaign reached 3,000 essential workers, showcasing the visible relief and appreciation from beneficiaries.

The initiative serves as a reminder of the value of caring for others in the community.
