NIPR and NTDA Launch WPRF 2026 Technical Committee

The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) and the Nigerian Tourism Development Authority (NTDA) officially launched the World Public Relations Forum (WPRF) 2026 Technical Committee at the NTDA headquarters in Abuja. The committee's singular mandate is to showcase tourism destinations within the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

The inauguration ceremony was hosted by Mr. Ola Awakan, the Director General of NTDA, and presided over by Dr.

Ik Neliaku, the Chairman of the NIPR Council. The initiative aims to enhance Nigeria's global image in tourism and entertainment, with a focus on delivering a memorable experience for international delegates expected to attend the forum.

The WPRF will feature a Nigerian flavor at the International Tourism Expo (NAFITO) scheduled for November in Abuja. The technical team's core objective is to collaborate and develop enriching tourism entertainment programs that showcase Nigeria's cultural heritage and creative industries, including theater, leveraging the diverse expertise of its members.
