Yabatech Girls’ Education, Skills Programme Gain Global Recognition

Yabatech's Girls' Education and Skills Programme has received global recognition from UNICEF Generation Unlimited. The initiative, known as Girls Education Skills Partnership (GESP), was praised as a shining example of educational innovation that empowers young women.

The partnership aims to train an additional one million girls, with UNICEF and Generation Unlimited officials commending Yabatech for its commitment to training and empowering girls in technology and entrepreneurship. The programme's third phase is currently training a new cohort in areas such as Web and Mobile Application Development, GSM Phone Repair, and Computer Maintenance.

The delegates also highlighted the importance of investing in girls, emphasizing the transformative impact of equipping them with skills. UNICEF and Generation Unlimited pledged continued support for Yabatech's goal of training one million more girls through GESP, recognizing the initiative's broader significance in creating a stronger economy and more inclusive society.
