CODE, Malala Fund Launch Girls’ Mentorship Programme In Bauchi

Connected Development (CODE) and the Malala Fund have launched a girls' mentorship program in Bauchi State to empower young girls with skills, confidence, and support. The initiative, unveiled at a press conference, will see dedicated female mentors guiding and inspiring groups of five girls each in personal growth, advocacy, and leadership.

The program, piloted in four schools across four local government areas, aims to prepare strong advocates for girls' education in the community. CODE's Chief Executive, Hamzat Lawal, emphasized the program's potential to transform education outcomes in Bauchi State, highlighting the need for transparency and accountability in education planning.
