YIN to Train 2,000 Nigerian Youths in Digital Skills

Young Innov Nigeria (YIN), led by CEO Joi Buba, has announced plans to train an additional 2,000 Nigerian youths in digital skills, particularly in artificial intelligence and emerging technologies. This initiative is a continuation of their previous success, where 1,000 youths were trained in April 2023 as part of their first cohort.

The new training program, set to commence in April 2026, aims to equip participants with foundational skills necessary for the digital economy. Buba emphasized the importance of Nigeria not being sidelined in the global AI revolution and highlighted the need for increased access to digital training tools.

The program is designed to empower young Nigerians to participate in the global creator economy, providing them with opportunities for remote work and sustainable income. The initiative is part of a broader mission to democratize access to technology and innovation for all Nigerian youths, regardless of their location or background, ultimately contributing to national GDP growth.
