ADC Names Kassim Gana Gaidam as Guber Candidate for 2027

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has officially adopted Kassim Gana Gaidam as its consensus gubernatorial candidate for the upcoming 2027 elections in Yobe State. This decision was announced through a statement signed by Alhaji Muhammad from the party's state secretariat in Damaturu, following extensive consultations among party stakeholders and aspirants.

The ADC commended the aspirants who stepped down in support of this consensus arrangement, describing it as a demonstration of loyalty, sacrifice, and commitment to the party's unity and progress. Kassim Gana Gaidam has a robust background as an administrator, legal practitioner, and technocrat, with experience in public service and the banking sector.

He previously served with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and as the Attorney General of Yobe State. Gaidam is also known for his role in drafting Nigeria's 1999 constitution and has held various positions in the banking sector.

The ADC encourages its members and the people of Yobe State to rally behind Gaidam's candidacy.
