Yobe APC Deputy Women Leader Fatima Mairiga Dies

Fatima Mairiga, the Deputy Women Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Yobe State, died on Saturday in Kano after a brief illness. The announcement was made by Hussaini Suleh, the Press Secretary to the Yobe State Deputy Governor, who expressed that her death is a significant loss to the APC family in the state.

The nature of her illness was not disclosed, but her passing has led to mourning among family members, political associates, and supporters. Funeral prayers are set to take place on Sunday at 4:00 pm at the Yobe Mosque and Islamic Centre in Damaturu, Yobe State, where she will be buried immediately afterward according to Islamic tradition.
