Yobe Governor Buni Appoints Moham Goje as SSG

On April 29, 2026, Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State announced the appointment of Moham Goje as the new Secretary to the State Government (SSG), effective immediately. This decision was communicated through a statement by Mamman Moham, the governor's Director General of Press and Media Affairs.

Moham Goje previously served as the Executive Secretary of the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA). His elevation to the role of SSG comes in the wake of Baba Mallam Wali's recent endorsement to lead the gubernatorial candidacy for the state in the upcoming 2027 elections.
