Yobe Govt Restructures Agro-Food Industries, Signs PPP for Growth

Yobe State Government in Nigeria has announced a significant restructuring of its agro-food industries as part of its agricultural transformation agenda. Governor Mai Mala Buni unveiled a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) agreement with a private investor to revamp the state's agricultural sector.

This restructuring aims to consolidate and harmonize six key assets under a single holding company, including the Nigerian Food Corporation and various mills and factories. The move seeks to drive growth, innovation, and food security in Yobe State by leveraging expertise and strategic partnerships.

A new board of directors, chaired by Sa'id Alkali Kori, has been appointed to oversee the transition and ensure the success of the restructured agro-food industries.
