Yobe Govt Warns Traders of Shop Revocation in Modern Markets Over Relocation Issue

The Yobe state government, led by Governor Mai Mala Buni, has issued a warning to traders in modern markets in Damaturu, Gashua, and Nguru, threatening to revoke shops allocated to those who refuse to relocate to the newly constructed modern market facilities. Despite significant investments made to provide a conducive business environment, traders have been reluctant to move due to concerns over high rent and potential loss of existing customers.
