Lawan Wins APC Ticket for Sixth Term in Yobe North

Ahmed Lawan has successfully secured the All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket for a sixth term representing the Yobe North senatorial district. This development followed extensive consultations among party leaders and stakeholders across the zone, culminating in a unanimous endorsement during the screening exercise conducted on Monday.

Lawan expressed gratitude to the APC leadership at both national and state levels, particularly thanking Governor Mai Mala Buni and Minister of Police Affairs Ibrahim Geidam. He emphasized the importance of unity within the party and the collective commitment to progress in Yobe North.

Lawan articulated his vision for the district, focusing on attracting development projects, enhancing education, and empowering youth through agricultural transformation.
