The Yobe State Police Command has intensified security operations across the state after the temporary closure of schools as a proactive safety measure. The Police Public Relations Officer, Dungu Abdulkarim, announced the new security measures, including a strategic security conference involving area command, divisional police officers, and department heads to strengthen the state's security architecture.

CP Emmanuel Ado directed the immediate deployment of enhanced security strategies in schools and public facilities, emphasizing intelligence-led policing and inter-agency collaboration to address kidnapping and insurgency threats.
