APC Denies Coercion Allegations by ADC Amid Membership Registration Dispute

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has responded to the African Democratic Congress (ADC) accusing the latter of being intimidated by the massive turnout in APC's membership registration exercise. The APC denied allegations of coercing civil servants to register, which the ADC claimed was a tactic of economic coercion.

The ADC described this alleged practice as forcing membership. However, the APC dismissed these claims as part of a disinformation campaign by the ADC.

The APC emphasized that millions of Nigerians are inspired by the party and choose to join voluntarily, without any form of intimidation. The ongoing registration exercise has become a point of contention between the two parties, with the ADC warning against actions that violate constitutional rights and undermine the neutrality of the civil service.
