Presidency Critiques Peter Obi's Leadership in Labour Party

The Nigerian presidency, through special adviser Dure Dare, has publicly criticized Peter Obi, the former governor of Anambra State and a presidential candidate, stating that he lacks the ability to fix problems within the Labour Party (LP). The presidency accused Obi of failing to manage internal crises within the party and argued that he neither founded nor effectively controls it.

Additionally, the presidency addressed allegations regarding the African Democratic Congress (ADC), insisting that the party had been hijacked. Tinubu's aide emphasized the importance of allowing ongoing legal processes to determine the outcome of disputes within the ADC, urging party members to refrain from public outcry.

The comments were made during an interview on African Independent Television (AIT), where Dare reiterated the need for the courts to rule on the matter.
