ADC Chieftain Challenges Wike on Atiku's Ambitions

Ez Chukwuemeka Ez, a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), expressed concern over statements made by Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, regarding the presidential ambitions of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar. Wike had claimed that Abubakar's political structure would ensure his success in the 2027 presidential elections.

Ez described Wike's assertions as unfortunate, childish, and undemocratic, warning that such a mindset poses a danger to democracy. He challenged Wike to clarify the nature of the political structures he referenced, suggesting they may be built on manipulation and intimidation.

Ez argued that the Nigerian electorate is increasingly aware and determined to reclaim their country from leaders whose actions have contributed to current challenges. He asserted that no politician is invincible and that the power ultimately belongs to the people.

Ez concluded by stating that the political structures erected through intimidation and abuse of power will inevitably collapse when confronted by the electorate.
