Igbokwe Warns Opposition Against Stopping Tinubu's Bid

Joe Igbokwe, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), issued a stern warning to opposition parties regarding their efforts to obstruct President Bola Tinubu's re-election campaign. In a post on his Facebook page on Tuesday, Igbokwe stressed that the opposition must not underestimate Tinubu's electoral strength and urged them to allow him to fulfill his agenda for Nigeria.

Meanwhile, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar cautioned political actors against zoning the 2027 presidential ticket to the South, arguing that the current political landscape lacks a strategic approach to defeat an incumbent. He pointed out that the opposition should focus on building a formidable coalition capable of challenging the ruling party rather than relying on sentiments.
