Igbokwe Responds to Tinubu Must Go Protests in Abuja

Joe Igbokwe, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), expressed his views on the protests demanding the resignation of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The protests occurred at the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) headquarters in Abuja on Wednesday, organized by a coalition of opposition leaders, including support from the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

During the protests, demonstrators were heard chanting "Tinubu must go." Igbokwe questioned the rationale behind the protests, noting that Tinubu has not yet completed his four-year term in office. He remarked on the presence of street urchins participating in the protests, suggesting they were not adequately informed about the political situation, stating, "the train left the station," implying that the opportunity for change had passed.
