Igbokwe Urges Support for Tinubu Amidst Opposition Criticism

Joe Igbokwe, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), expressed strong disapproval of the opposition's actions against President Bola Tinubu's administration. In a post on his Facebook page on Tuesday, Igbokwe stated that Nigerians did not vote for Tinubu to merely maintain the status quo.

He urged the opposition to support Tinubu's re-election bid and work towards retooling and restructuring Nigeria to achieve its goals. Igbokwe warned that the opposition's persistent efforts to remove the president by 2027, amidst ongoing economic crises, would not be tolerated.

He called for a united front to push the country forward, emphasizing that complacency would not be accepted in governance. Igbokwe's remarks reflect a broader concern within the APC regarding the need for decisive action to address the nation's economic challenges.
