Your Presidential Ambition Is Dead, Can’t Get ADC Ticket – Wike Knocks Amaechi

Former Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike, has criticized his predecessor, Rotimi Amaechi, stating that Amaechi's presidential ambition is dead as he cannot secure the African Democratic Congress (ADC) ticket. Wike made these comments on a television program, highlighting Amaechi's lack of ability to fight corruption and uphold good governance.

Wike also mentioned Amaechi's alleged disrespect for the judiciary and the rule of law. Amaechi, who served as the Governor of Rivers State from May 2007 to May 2015, has been aiming for the presidency in the 2027 elections.

The relationship between the two politicians, once close, has now soured. Wike's remarks suggest a challenging road ahead for Amaechi in his political aspirations.
