CLTC Honors 43 Premiere Academy Students with Badges

The Citizenship and Leadership Training Centre (CLTC) awarded its Citizenship Badge of Honour to 43 final year students of Premiere Academy, Abuja, who excelled in the Course MS O62 Leadership Skills Programme. This program, themed “Future-Ready Teen Leaders: Building Character, Competence and Capacity for Effective Leadership and Responsible Citizenship,” aimed to equip students with essential leadership qualities.
At the closing ceremony, the Director-General of CLTC, Ms. Rinsola Abiola, represented by the Director of Training, Mr. Ebiwari Elehibiri, commended Premiere Academy for adopting the new Mobile Training Programme, which replaces traditional physical training locations. Ms. Abiola encouraged the students to view their badges as symbols of honour and responsibility, similar to those awarded to military and paramilitary personnel for exemplary service.
Premiere Academy’s principal, Mr. Chris Akinsowon, praised the students for their discipline and noted that the program aligns with the school’s operational pillars: Safe, Strong, and Set to Lead.
