CLTC and Premiere Academy Launch Leadership Boot Camp

The Citizenship and Leadership Training Centre (CLTC), in collaboration with Premiere Academy, Abuja, is organizing a 10-day leadership training boot camp for final-year students. Principal Chris Akinsowon stated that the program aims to equip students with practical leadership and life skills such as confidence, discipline, teamwork, effective communication, and responsibility.

This initiative is part of a series of pre-resumption activities to prepare students for life beyond secondary education. CLTC, a Federal Government agency under the Federal Ministry of Youth Development, focuses on informal and experiential leadership and citizenship education.

The boot camp will expose participants to strategic thinking, self-discovery, discipline, and patriotism through various challenges. Akinsowon emphasized the importance of leadership and citizenship education for nation-building and expressed commitment to producing responsible and confident graduates.

He noted that the school invests in initiatives to develop future leaders and help students adapt to new challenges while fostering compassion and maturity.
