YPP Aspirant and Ekiti Monarch Urge Unity for Eid

Olajide Filani, a presidential aspirant from the Young Progressives Party (YPP), extended congratulations to the Muslim community across Nigeria on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, which marks the end of Ramadan. In a statement released on Friday, Filani described Eid-el-Fitr as a period embodying sacrifice, discipline, love, and compassion.

He urged Nigerians to uphold the lessons learned during Ramadan to promote peace, tolerance, and unity, particularly in light of the country's current challenges. Filani emphasized the need for prayer and sincere leadership, calling on citizens to remain hopeful for a prosperous and peaceful future.

He also encouraged political leaders and religious organizations to reflect on the importance of national unity during this festive season. Similarly, Ekiti monarch Ayodel Obasoyin congratulated the Muslim community in Ekiti State and called for prayers for peace ahead of the gubernatorial elections scheduled for June 20, 2026.

He highlighted the significance of unity in addressing the nation's economic and security challenges.
