Kogi State Government Takes Steps to Prevent Lokoja-Abuja Road Gridlock

The Kogi State government, led by Governor Usman Ododo, is proactively addressing potential traffic congestion on the Lokoja-Abuja road ahead of the festive season. A delegation, including State Security Adviser Duro Jerri Omodara, assessed the road's condition and identified areas needing immediate attention.

The government is working closely with security agencies like FRSC and NSCDC, as well as construction firm Trucret Solutions Ltd, to ensure smooth vehicular movement. Efforts include creating temporary passages and repairing critical road sections.

This initiative aims to enhance road safety and facilitate seamless travel during the holiday period.
