Yusuf Azeez Wins 2026 Valentine's Day Golf Kitty

Yusuf Azeez triumphed at the 2026 Valentine's Day Kitty organized at the Tukur Yusuf Buratai International Golf Resort Country Club in Abuja. Azeez secured the overall victory with a gross score of 89 and an impressive net score of 61, outperforming a competitive field.

In the men's division 2, Jerri Ishaya claimed the runner-up position with a gross score of 90 and a net score of 62. In the men's division 1, Prince David won through countback with a gross score of 73 and a net score of 68, while Ugo Nkwocha finished second, also determined by countback, ahead of Hamza Moham.

The ladies' category saw Hauwa Adamu take the top honor with a gross score of 81 and a net score of 81, followed closely by Maryam Ibekwe and Olivia Adesua. In the veteran men's category, Nurudeen Abdulsalam emerged victorious with a gross score of 83 and a net score of 65.

The event, which attracted over 200 participants, was praised for fostering camaraderie and sportsmanship within the club.
