150 Golfers Join TYB Ladi Tournament in Abuja

No fewer than 150 golfers gathered at the Tukur Yusuf Buratai International Golf Country Club (TYB IGRCC) in Abuja for the TYB Ladi weekly kitti tournament. The event aimed to promote camaraderie among female golfers and included free medical checks provided by EHA Clinic, focusing on health measures such as blood pressure and heart rate monitoring.

Dr. Lami Onayi, President of the Ladi Golf Association Nigeria, commended the organization for promoting women's participation in golf and emphasized the importance of health and friendship.

Jumai Adamu, the newly inaugurated Ladi Captain of TYB IGRCC, expressed her delight at the turnout, noting it as the largest kitti event recorded. She announced plans to improve facilities for women golfers and introduced a program to enhance skills and encourage participation in external tournaments.

The event showcased the club's commitment to inclusivity and the growth of women's golf, with support from dignitaries like Helen Mark and Dame Juli Donli.
