Zamfara APC Primary Panel Promises Fair Elections

The All Progressives Congress (APC) primary panel in Zamfara State, chaired by Auwal Abdullahi Aliyu, has committed to conducting fair elections amidst allegations of bias. Aliyu addressed journalists in Gusau, stating that the committee is dedicated to ensuring a transparent electoral process and has not favored any candidates.

He described claims of bias as the work of "mischief makers." The committee has shifted the election dates twice to facilitate consensus among candidates and avoid potential crises. Aliyu reassured that the committee operates within the guidelines set by the national headquarters of the APC and emphasized that no other committee has been sent from the national level to conduct the primaries in Zamfara.

He urged aspirants to adhere to the established rules and expressed confidence that justice would prevail in the electoral process.
