Zamfara State Governor Introduces ₦150,000 Monthly Allowance for Medical Corps Members

Zamfara State Governor Dauda Lawal revealed the commencement of a ₦150,000 monthly allowance for medical corps members during the swearing-in ceremony of the 2026 NYSC batch at the orientation camp in Zamfara State. He stressed the significance of national service, urging corps members to serve with discipline, purpose, and a strong sense of national duty.

The Governor highlighted the role of the NYSC scheme in promoting unity and mutual understanding, especially during challenging times in Nigeria. He assured a conducive work environment for corps members throughout their service year and emphasized the state's commitment to their welfare.

Governor Lawal also underscored the state's engagement with security agencies, traditional rulers, and community leaders to ensure the safety of corps members. State NYSC Coordinator, Malam Lawal Ahmad, commended the Zamfara State government for its continuous support of the NYSC scheme.
